I compiled a list of English-language attestation dates for a large number of words. You can download this list here split into files by part of speech. If you use it, I'd be interested in hearing about it.
An implementation of some methods described in Chance of Two Noriegas with some additional figures. This implementation is interested in finding non-topic words, so it discards words beginning with capital letters and numbers.
